a pair of IBM 68 pin U160 SCSI drives
dabox was the Seller on March 14, 2006 ArsTechnica
Ron shipped quickly and maintained great communications. He also demonstrated great patience as I struggled to get testing on the drives completed in a timely fashion. After my initial tests of the drives using DFT indicated possible corrupted sector issues (non-repairable), he sent out two replacement drives, and I returned the original two. He tested the replacement drives prior to shipping using the same utility I used to ensure they were good. I am now using the replacement drives. The drives I returned also tested fine in his system, so I suspect that there is some interaction with the LSI 53c controller on the Thunder 2500 mobo that I\'m using and DFT. At any rate, WinXP chkdsk found no problems witht the new drives, so I am a happy customer.
Bottom line: would gladly trade with again. Thanks!

Compaq Proliant Dual Pentium Pro Server
dabox was the Seller on January 17, 2004 ArsTechnica
Tried to buy a Compaq Proliant Dual Pentium Pro server from Ron. Due to the thing\\\'s size he brought it to Office Depot to be packed. When it got to me we discovered somebody thinks packing a 60lb computer with peanuts is okay. Its not, it didn\\\'t work.
Anyway Ron was very nice about it and immediately sent me a refund through certified mail. I just heard from him today that Office Depot honored his damage claim.
Definately a great trader! Would be very comfortable doing business with Ron again (as long as he doesn\\\'t use Office Depot packaging :D )January 17, 2004
